The OpenHouse Limerick is run by a voluntary, not-for-profit committee, who organise the programme of building tours, guided walks, talks and other events, all of which takes a large amount of commitment and volunteer time each year.
OpenHouse Limerick is presented in partnership with the Irish Architecture Foundation and in association with Limerick City and County Council, and is funded by Creative Ireland and Limerick City and County Council through Creative Ireland Made in Limerick Grant 2019.
OpenHouse Limerick is part of the Open House Worldwide Family, which includes 46 Open House festivals around the world.
Without the support of our funders; of our main sponsor Roadstone; sponsors Rogerson Reddan and Healy Partners, Architects; and all of those who give their time and facilities for free including all building owners, architects, guides, stewards, etc., we would not be able to organise this programmed weekend of events.
In addition to our main sponsors and funders, the OpenHouse Limerick weekend of events would not be possible without the support of Carr Architects, Culture Night, FabLab Limerick, Fáilte Ireland, Feeney McMahon Architects, GBM Limerick, Glance Promotions, GoCar, Irish Film Institute Archives, James Corbett Architects, John Elliott, The Lime Tree Theatre / Belltable, Limerick.ie, Limerick City Gallery of Art, Newenham Mulligan Architects, OpticNerve, Peter Carroll (A2), Quinn Architects, RIAI, Riccardo Marini, SAUL, and to the members of the public who attend the events and make them what they are.
