Civic Visionaries: How visionary architecture addresses environmental, social and economic sustainability and how it can optimise the health and wellbeing of its occupants.
Dominic Stevens, JFOC architects will talk about housing design as a community building tool. Drawing on experience in Berlin working with housing co-operatives, research into historically successful housing models and more recent Irish developer led housing projects he proposes that the good design of shared spaces in housing projects is crucial in the creation of a feeling of community amongst neighbours.
